Letter from the Chairperson

A warm welcome back to everyone! 2018 has begun on a good note, with the PTA hosting a tea on Pleasaunce for all the new LV girls and their parents. On Friday 19th January, blessed with excellent weather, we hosted the Annual PTA cocktail party in Founders Hall. We were entertained by Saxokay on the saxophone, and parents got the opportunity to mingle and catch up on holiday news!

The PTA worked tirelessly to complete the textbooks and stationery requirements for 2017/ 2018. Eight thousand new and second-hand books have passed out of the PTA book room between the end of November and the first week of 2018. A job well done by the PTA!   The textbook sales are our biggest income revenue stream, and we thank the parents for supporting this initiative and purchasing their daughter’s books from us.

If any parents are keen to join or assist the PTA with our many projects, please contact myself, Jackie Ahier 0826513390 or the vice-Chair, Nausheen Ameen. Alternatively, any other member of the PTA listed below on pta@roedeanschool.co.za
