Roedean supports all pupils in realising their full potential and providing opportunities for them to develop into self-assured, happy, independent young girls. Optimal learning takes place when girls feel supported and accepted.
“Optimal learning takes place when girls feel supported and accepted”.
The promotion and care of each individual’s emotional, social, and academic well-being is achieved through guiding the girls through challenges and building their resilience. Girls are closely monitored by their teachers and, if any specific difficulties are identified, parents are advised and intervention is suggested. Teachers, psychologists, parents, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, speech and language therapists, and remedial therapists work closely together to create strategies to assist the girls. Ongoing teacher and parent feedback, forms part of the intervention.
