The President’s Award is part of Roedean’s co-curricular programme and offers pupils many opportunities to participate in service projects, skills development, physical activities and to enjoy Adventurous Journeys on the bronze, silver, and gold levels.

The camaraderie that our students experience often forms some of the most cherished memories of their years at Roedean:

“From sleeping in tents, to spending afternoons around the hockey field, the President’s Award has really changed my life for the better. During the Adventurous Journeys, I was completely isolated from all technology and the luxuries of city life which made me gain a greater appreciation for the beauty of nature. The President’s Award has pushed me to appreciate the importance of teamwork. Participating in my skill has taught me the importance of commitment. I learnt that I don’t need to be super talented to participate in the Award, as it is for everyone who is willing to put in the effort to go beyond their comfort zone and complete what is required.”
